Glow Easy Lock X-Large Deep White Fiberglass Umbrella (65x22) Gl-el-65bw

Description

Parabolas are technically 'conic sections'. As with all fine Glow products , this umbrella comes packaged in a fitted, durable fabric pouch, which protects it during transport and storage, and will not grow hard and crack like traditional, plastic umbrella casings. With much attention to minutia in its tough build, from resilient fabric to fiberglass frame ribs, this umbrella sets the standard for portable light control for people and subjects. This classic creates subtle contrasts and provides the most diffused indirect lighting, along with soft shadow definition. This extra-large edition of the Deep Umbrella is especially suitable for illuminating an entire person and small groups with smooth but exciting light. The larger and closer the light is to the subject, the softer the results will be as to the transition of the highlight into the shadow. As a comparison, Glow soft boxes were designed to simulate window, light, sky light and north light. Take a perfect cone; slice through it down to the base, the edge of the cut is a parabola. The important point of the physics of photographically regarding parabolas is they have a focal point. The newly designed locking device surrounds the shaft, providing a comfortable place to slide the umbrella mechanism to open, and a generous wide button to release the shoot. Another factor in choosing light modifiers: the shape of catch lights in a portrait subject's eyes and the size of the modifier in relation to the size of the subject.
