Fine threads of silicone are knit into the top-band of the stocking. Traditional silicone top-bands are sewn on, and don't stretch like a knit top-band. They can be constricting and uncomfortable, especially on sensitive skin. The new Sensitive band holds the stockings securely in place, but with much less silicone touching the skin. This provides better breathability and comfort, and less irritation. Below the top-band, UltraSheer has not changed. You get the same sheer, lightweight knit and graduated compression that makes your legs look great, and feel fantastic.
