Keeley Retro Super Phat Mod Germanium OVERDRIVE Pedal

Description

The Keeley Retro Super is an overdrive pedal created the most high-octane of tones. The secondary gain stage has been kept open so the pedal has room to breath and act as the focal point to your overdrive tone. This powerhouse will provide all the gain you could ever want with a side of rich fuzz characteristics.[video_1]Based in Edmand, Oklohoma, Keeley designed the Retro Super to emulate a fuzz on top of a cranked tube amp. Think Kvelertak, Mastodon or Red Fang's responsive overdrive styles. The Super Retro adds sustain, thickness and dynamism most fuzz pedals simply can't do. It works as the germanium amplifier stage, which provides the unique ultra fuzz voicing. Germanium Phat ModThe Phat Mod is what keeps the Retro Super ticking over. This isn't a classic fuzz in the typical sense. Drenched in gain without becoming flubby.
