Seriously warm, their double layer construction means that they're also extremely comfortable, with the added benefit of having a built in insulated slipper for wearing in the mountain hut or in the tent. Winner of the ISPO Outdoor Product of the Year Award, these boots are designed for Winter alpine climbing and mountaineering up to 7000 metres. Taking technical innovations from the Ski Boot industry, the advanced BOA lacing system uses a rachetdial to achieve the tension and fit, without any knots or lacing that would be difficult to tie in gloves or cold hands. The La SportivaG2 SM is a boot for the high altitude mountaineer, combining the nimbleness, precision and lightness you'd associate with a summer alpine boot, with the protection and warmth of old school double layer plastic boot. Simply twist to the desired tightness to achieve the perfect fit.This system is also easy to adjust on the move, allowing you to vary the fit for ascent, descent and traversing. The whole of the upper is protected by a waterproof and very durable Corduragaiter, while 4 layers of insulation cocoon the foot to keep extreme Winter temperatures from causing cold injuries.
