If the bottle pressure reaches 3000 PSI the cap inside of the NHRA fitting opens to relieve the bottle pressure. NHRA regulations require that any nitrous bottle mounted inside the cockpit (including the trunk) of a vehicle to have a blow down kit to evacuate the nitrous out of the vehicle. This blow down kit meets all NHRA specifications. NHRA Approved. The 3 foot long flexible stainless braided hose allows for the user to find a convenient location to evacuate the nitrous from the cockpit of the vehicle. This blow down tube connects to the NHRA fitting on the bottle valve. This tube is used to route the nitrous out of the vehicle. Application.
