About this product
Description
The "5" comes from the Alnico 5 magnets, and they deliver full, rich clean tones. I've used it in the bridge of a Les Paul Custom and an Epiphone Les Paul Ultra (semi-hollow), and it got along nicely with either a Jazz or a '59 in the neck slot. Those combinations worked for bluesy rock and classic rock. If you're looking for a bridge pickup with more roar than the Model '59, check out the Custom 5: full tone, scooped mids, well-balanced bass and treble, and lots of output.
